Ha sido un camino lleno de obstáculos para que finalmente The Libertines haya podido concretar su reunión. La dupla Pete Doherty/Carl Barat se separo por años, reconciliándose recientemente la banda anuncio su álbum de regreso, Anthems For The Doomed Youth.

Pero el hecho de que hayan regresado e la escena musical, no significa que hayan olvidado su pantanoso pasado, como lo detalla en su nuevo sencillo Glasgow Coma Scale Blues.

Barat y Doherty regresan a su estilo característico, los dos cantan con el corazón expuesto sobre su problemática historia, para al final unirse en el coro donde uno a otro se culpan por la separación de años The only thing that kept us apart/ Was your cold, unloving heart/ Your cold, cold heart./ What happened to the joy in the hearts of the boys/ at the start of the part of the seams?

 

Actualización: The Libertines también ha compartido la canción que da titulo al larga duración.

 

 

Con estas nuevos sencillos que se suman a Gunga Din y Barbarians, todo lo que queda es esperar al lanzamiento del álbum el próximo 11 de septiembre a través de Harvest/Virgin EMI.
